The 4x Memory Card is a memory storage unit for Dreamcast. It offers 800 blocks of storage space, which is four times more than the standard Visual Memory Unit (VMU). The 800 blocks are divided into four 200-block units, called banks.
The 4x Memory Card is not a Visual Memory unit. It does not feature a display, speaker, clock, or VMU mini-game functions, and cannot be used with software that is labeled "Visual Memory Required."
