If you own a Gamecube, then you owe it to yourself to own this game. Metroid Prime was the highest rated game of 2002, and for very good reason: it's one of the only games that can truly be considered a modern classic. Metroid Prime is a real next generation title, and not just for its amazing graphics, but for its innovative gameplay. The controls are amazingly intuitive and the action is varied and challenging, but always fair. A game this balanced, polished and plain fun only comes around once every few years.
